Mind.Body.Music: My Fight Song {Pso Remix}

By now I’m SURE you’ve heard Rachel Platten’s ‘Fight Song’. And if you haven’t, are you living under a rock? haha!

It’s such a powerful song and the lyrics are incredible.

This is MY fight song, what's your? | Check out this awesome video with my PsoFamily as we remix Rachel Platten's Fight Song! #Spoonie #ChronicLife #Psoriatic #Arthritis #Psoriasis itsjustabadday.comThis is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I’m alright song
My power’s turned on
Starting right now I’ll be strong
I’ll play my fight song
And I don’t really care if nobody else believes
‘Cause I’ve still got a lot of fight left in me

Music is such a powerful tool that we can use to uplift our emotions. Sound therapy is truly real and can help us in so many ways. Lyz Cooper started The British Academy of Music Therapy and has a wonderful blog all about the amazing benefits of the therapy! {Check it out here!}

Because today’s National Psoriasis Wellness Challenge of the Day is to make a playlist that will help pump you up when you’re having a bad day or going through a rough time, some of the NPF bloggers decided to have a little fun with the challenge and make a video! HUGE shoutout to Sabrina over at Homegrown Houston for birthing the idea and working to get it all put together.

So maybe Rachel Platten’s Fight Song isn’t YOUR specific fight song, but I bet you there is one out there! For me, the sound that I continually go back to over and over is David Guetta’s  “The World Is Mine”. Whenever I’m having a bad day, I put that baby on, crank up the volume and jam out. It’s been there when I was in college, when I started my professional career and through flares and depressed days.

Also- I have a “I’m NEVER Going To Give Up” Playlist on my Youtube channel where I add videos of songs that help pump me up when I’m feeling low. Check it out and make your own!!

Wishing You A Pain Free Day!
